Globi is an innovative software company, specializing in communication solutions for the global market. Founded in 2005, Globi is growing fast. The Globi headquarters are in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, namely the Faroe Islands, and the company has customers in roughly 120 countries. Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 on the Faroe Islands, Regin W. Dalsgaard, is the man behind the company as founder and CEO. He is the man with the ideas for the software solutions Globi delivers.

The Globi communication solutions range from mobile banking, premium based SMS solutions, Global SMS gateways with integration into other systems, as well as alarm systems based on SMS messages. GlobiBanker

GlobiBanker is a mobile banking business solution made available to international financial institutions. End users are the banks’ customers who need access to financial services on the run – regardless of time and place.


GlobiAlarm

Globi has also released GlobiAlarm, a system that insures stable and efficient surveillance of technological systems. GlobiAlarm sends out alarm SMS messages to the people it concerns, and that way people are notified immediately if something goes wrong. The Danish military uses GlobiAlarm, which has resulted in less need of manpower for surveillance of important technological systems.


GlobiVAS

GlobiVAS is also part of Globi’s portfolio of software solutions. GlobiVAS is a premium SMS solution for competitions. GlobiVAS can easily be connected to GlobiSMS. Globi’s newest product is GlobiNotes, an internet based administration interface for keeping track of meeting minutes. GlobiNotes is mainly intended for board meetings in companies and other organized entities.


Globi is the largest provider of SMS solutions for the Faroese market. The Globi headquarters is on the Faroe Islands, but Globi uses programming expertise and other specialized know-how from around the world.
